Today was another crazy, but amazing day! Mindy and I woke up around 6 a.m. to drive three hours up country to visit our students at Masinga Boarding School. We had 12 girls and 7 boys in the New Hope Scholarship Fund that made high enough grades to be able to attend boarding school for the 2011 year!

Mindy and I spent the afternoon hanging out with our students and seeing their school. The kids LOVE being in boarding school and it was so great to see how happy they are. They are learning so much and and it was amazing to see the things that your love and support are accomplishing for the children of Kibera. Today we talked with the students about their dreams and goals. You can hear the hope in their voices as they talk about their future. They have hope.



Thank you again for all of the love you have shown the Kibera Penda Project! It is with your help that we are able to give these kids a hope for the future. We love you all.
